The First Snow January 17, 2012 | Chicago, IL

Well maybe not the first snow, but this was take after the first real snow Chicago has seen this entire winter. Trying to keep up with the frequent posts, I called my buddy Ken to see if he would be interested in an early morning sunrise shot. The light turned out slightly better than the last time we shot together, but we seem to have a knack for picking overcast sunrises. This is that huge building right on the lake in Lincoln Park. If you look closely you can see the moon on top of the center of the building.
